We had a great start for our New Year. The Hub's and I decided to stay in and enjoy each other.
Usually the whole family gets together for a bonfire and we watch the all the fireworks right from our yard.
This year The Norton's had a great 7 day camping trip lined up with their family.
The Newell's had a sick young lady, Melissa. So we celebrated together. Nice fire going in the fireplace, candles lite. Watched a movie or two till we fell asleep then woke at 11:44 ;-) almost missed ringing in the New Year.
It was nice!

This is a sad day for one of our Grand Daughter's. Her hamster Curlie died. She is upset and crying on the way to school. That just breaks your heart having you child crying and having to go to school.

These are just little things to us, but big things to them. Grandma & Papa are sad for you also.

33rd Anniversary 8/12/09

This year we decided not to go out of town for our Anniversary. Last year it was St. Thomas, but instead we took the boat out and went to what they call Egmont Island. Really nice beach, and a lighthouse to see. It was a great day.
