Living with Fibromyalgia

I can already tell my Fibro hates this time of year more than any other. Actually you deal year round, but nothing like when winter weather changes come.

Isn't it enough to deal with MS also? I guess not. Massage, hummmm the last time I went for that I couldn't get up. God help me each day to live as strong as I can. To please Christ in all I do. Even though some days I just want to give up...................

I can not believe we are in September already. Schools have started.
Lissa starts home schooling this week.

Got the cuttest picture of Liberty off FB this morning...so sweet.

Today my home care nurse comes to flush my port. I am also doing a little laundry and cutting coupons that I have printed.
I got so far 78 SoBe drinks for free except for tax of course. That was awesome. I still have 47 to get. Rather 94 since it is BOGO. :) Which has become one of my favorite words.

I am not looking foward to the weekend as Michael has a wedding to attend. He is best man. We talked and decided the extra ticket right now just can't happen. I do have a free airline ticket from one of our trips where they busted my wheelchair except he is going to PA with Southeast, and my ticket is American Airlines.

Had a great Labor Day morning visiting with my folks, Justin, Brittany and Conner there son.
Ginny my sister in law came along with my sister Pam and David with three of the children. Becca came also. Was glad she took the time. She had to be at work at 11:00am so that was a pleasure.

Our church had a Labor Day picnic, but due to the heat we decided to not attend. It was a cooler day than we have been having, but still hot.

I came home and slept for 4 hours after breakfast. I was just plain beat.
I had put on baby back ribs in the crockpot and Michael and I had a nice dinner together.

Special day for us.

34Th Anniversary Celebration!

Well, we woke up with a bang, and headed out Thursday the 12Th taking is easy. It's really not very far to drive.
We arrived at Hutchinson Island got all checked in. They were kind enough to put us in a Elite room which was also handicap ready in the bathroom. We were a little surprised to see as many people as we did. The last two times we went during the summer it was not very busy. No giant crowd though.
Also surprised to find out they had moved restaurant from the top floor to the 1st floor. So the view change was one big difference.

I took some cool shoots with the camera the first day and we swam. The water was so pretty. I collected seashells. Unfortunately when we went to re-apply sunscreen I somehow forgot to do my legs and feet. By that night my legs had swollen and I was red as could be. Michael went out to get Aloe Gel (which I forgot to pack mine).

By morning I could not walk without a lot of assistance's. We talked and decided why stay I was in a lot of pain and we did come to celebrate and hit the beach......

So we check out and came home 2 days early. I can smile about it now, but it wasn't very funny than. Michael went on to church Sunday morning. Leaving me lathured in gel.

On a great note. We got to see our Daughter and Jeremy with the 3 Grandkids. So that was a blessing. They had just returned with the camper from a long vacation together. Had a wonderful time with a safe return.

So all in all the clock turned we still have been married 34 years as of August 12Th. That is what's important.
Until next time....many blessings.

34th Anniversary

Just found out last night (Michael just returned from 6 days in NJ) to have our bags packed and ready to hit the road for Hutchinson Island. It is on the East coast of Florida. We have been there before and I just loved it.
We can't go out of the country this time around, but this will be so nice, and I am very thankful. Yahoo Anniversary here we come..... Leaving Thursday morning. 34 great years. Even the testing we have gone through the last 2 or so years we can still say we love one another and are very blessed. God is so great!!
Pictures to come...................

Sunday, August 8, 2010

Well, it is Sunday night. I am still waiting on the hubby to return from NJ. He did call at 9:30PM and say he was off the plane. But it is now 11:00 and no Michael. :( that is a long time to get home from the airport.
It has been a long and lonely week. I have managed well considering he has been gone so long. His business part went well. He took today to look around and there is a 12 mile board walk there where he has worked on the Yacht.
He just got home safe and mostly sound. So with that... I will be closing.

The last two days have been a bit hard. Michael has worked out of town and that leaves him getting in late. He just left the Cape and it is pouring from the tropical storm so I exspect him around 8:00. It is at least blowing away from our gulf but always toward someone else which is sad. They haven't said whether it will turn into a hurrican or not.

Summer is in full blast. It is so hot and humid. You either stay in or stay in the pool.
The Grandkids have had fun swimming some. They all love the water.

Michael took the men (Tim & Jeremy) out on the boat to fish. Even announced men only.
They had a great time. No we don't eat that.....

Jeremy managed to hook up with a shark.

Both the guys did. They were catching everything except grouper.

As you can see the waves were rocking the
boat. Tim is showing off his shark.

They ended up with 6 sea bass. They are good, but not like a grouper.

Michael and I went out to Shell Key Island. It has become my favorite beach. It is only about 10 minutes from the dock. So not a real long bumpy ride. The water and beach is beautiful.

Life moves on. Our next big excitement is our Anniversary August 12, 2010 will be 34 years together. We want be able to go out of the country again, but I am sure Michael has something in mind. :)
That is about all.
Will attend a bridal shower tomorrow July 24th for Tiffany. Very excited for her and Darb.

Spring is here, summer is close by....

Everyone in Florida who has alergies sure knows it is Spring. It is once of the worse season's we have had in a long time.

I am waiting to Summer even though it is hot it is my fav time of year. I love the beach and it keeps you cool if you stay in the water I am okay.

Melissa and I are trying to decide whether to rent a house this year and go to Gasperilla, Island. We don't want to do any camping with the new baby.

I've been spending since Feb1 -10 recovering from another Plasma treatment. Also managed to get a blood clot in my right upper leg. On med's for that for 6-9 months. On my 2nd month now.

I wondered outside the other day and wow my lillies have really showed there selves this
year. I really enjoy taking picture's of flowers and many other things.

I am hoping to get out to a couple parks and take some more
pictures.
I've met a new friend Bonnie she is very kind and I enjoy her friendship.
Ginny also has been coming every 2 weeks to visit. That is my brother's wife. She is very easy to talk to and I trust her with what I say.
I've been keeping up with Melissa's blog our youngest daughter who home schools. She has really done a great job. She is due with ther 4th in 33 weeks. I am very excited. She is having a little girl. Leanna can hardly wait.
Be kind to others. Stay strong in your faith. Until next time.......
